Heads up UFO shutterbugs! In this brief doc for today’s FOIA Friday we have a memo to photographers on how to best capture UFO photographs for analysis. There’s no indication in the doc as to who authored the memo or what branch of government it possibly came from, but the tone is certainly serious and meant to ensure valuable photographic evidence could be obtained. It was released in 2010 but the typeface, scan quality, and reference to only “Fast film, such as Tri-X” and nothing digital hints at it being issued long before 2010. The number crunchers here at UFOMG (pretty much just me with an abacus) guess it’s probably from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s…such precision we can achieve here!
