I let my dog out approximately 4 a.M. and while standing outside, i observed an object with a dull orange glow pass almost directly overhead moving from northeast to southwest. the object moved in a constant straight line and i had the object in sight for maybe 10 seconds from the time i first observed it until it disappeared. during the observation, it moved steadily and quite slowly in a straight line and not randomly. like i said previously, the orange glow was dull and i was not able to observe it at a great distance although i had it in sight the whole time. it also moved in complete silence. i couldn't determine the exact shape of the object, its size (although the object appeared to be relatively large) or its altitude, but there were low clouds, there was no wind (it was completely still) and the sky was very dark. i live in the country away from any lights and visibility was perfect. i don't know what the ceiling was at the time, but it was low and the object was lower than the clouds.
