I was outside viewing the night sky from 10:01pm to a few minutes after, something strange happened. at 10:06pm there was an object in the sky moving westbound at an very high rate of speed. i was on the ground floor outside smoking a cigarette and watching the sky, this object flew westward at a rate of speed that i have never seen any type of fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft move, ever. it was was at about two thousand to three thousand feet of altitude above me on the street roughly just from raw eye sight, the object flew literally perfectly underneath the very slight cloud cover and it moved faster than any man made aircraft i have seen to date. the objects flight path had a very unusual visual display from the ground where i was observing. when i first noticed the object it was very hard to distinguish because of its absolutely high speed heading westbound penetrating the sky almost as if it was literally invisible to the human eye. after the object passed over top me, literally at a perfect vertical axis to the sky, it began to emit various colors. the object emitted a bright yellow and white color mostly, but with hints of dark red and violet colors and a faint hint of green. then this object literally vanished over downtown portland area, with no trace at all...Literally zero noise at all whatsoever. i want to be very clear. what i observed was moving westward and was operating far beyond what even our most up to date modern aerospace science would consider normal. i am very familiar with local flight patterns and local aircraft. what ever this was, was not explainable even in the least bit.....
