My two boys, 15 and 5, were playing in the backyard when they said they saw something in the sky. it was july, so the sky was still bright blue with no cloud cover at 630pm est. they pointed out the object they saw and quickly noticed a second object. they were both shiny, chrome-like spheres, far enough apart they didn't look like they were in formation. we watched the two objects move on a silent, more or less straight, path from our backyard, over our house from east to north before we lost sight of them. we're about 40 minutes from a busy airport and about 20 minutes from a local, small craft airport and reserve base, so there had been planes in the area earlier. planes and helicopters, ranging from commercial to private and military, are a frequent occurrence and i grew up in an air force/airline family. the objects we saw were not planes. after doing some light research, it does seem possible that these objects could have been part of google's wifi balloon program. there have been sightings in the carolinas fairly recently and georgia isn't too far. however, the objects we saw did not really look like the balloons google is using from our vantage point and there were no records of travel through georgia that i could find. we're left wondering what we saw.
