I started in law enforcement in 1970 at boulder, co. around 1975, i was given a call of a fraternity loud party. once i arrived, i observed hundreds of college age people looking straight up. i got out, i wouldn't look up as i figured that if i did, it would be a joke and didn't want to give them the satisfaction. i walked up to some of them and said, "what's going on". they said look above, finally i did look up and i observed a bright star like object, larger than the other stars in the sky. i was just still in the sky.. then suddenly, left that location and went from south to north at a rate of speed and probably went hundreds of miles over the mountains and then stop. it would then go back south at the same rate of speed. i watched this and immediately responded back to the pd and contacted noaa. they advised me that they have observed this entity, and moved faster than they would be able to calculate. i was then told that if this came out publicly, that noaa would state that it never happened. i was in law enforcement for 42 years. i only told a couple of my buddies cause i didn't want to be considered crazy. now that i am retired and see that it is reported by many, i figured that i would tell my story. not much too it, but happened.
