I was watching the meteor shower that is supposed to be most visible the 11th-15th or so, i went out around 11pm. i had been out for a little bit, guessing 15 min, when i saw a flash of light, pretty bright, then nothing, then again, in a slightly different spot, but pretty much directly overhead, a little bit north. then a 20 seconds later, i saw what i thought was a satellite, i had seen quite a few that night. it was moving about the same speed, but was very bright, i first thought it must be satellite, just be catching the moonlight as it traveled. then, it just went out....1-2 seconds, then back on, then following its flight path with my vision, it stopped, immediately. the lights flashed a few more times, i was actually scared..... then it continued north/northeast in its original flight pattern....... it flashed a few more times as it traveled, then i wasn't able to see it as it traveled behind houses. honestly, i was a little scared to go see it anymore. i have seen things before, but this is my first report. i honestly believe this vehicle was having some type of mechanical issue the way it was traveling. ?
