01/08/2020 around 10pmwe were sitting outside with friends on our farm. the night sky was brightened by the rising full moon with venus sitting just above the rising moon after it’s conjunction with the moon last week. not many stars were visible last night due to the moonlight, so only the prominent celestial bodies were visible at the time. i looked up towards the nw and saw a very bright light( not flashing) moving in a se direction at an extremely high speed. as it moved overhead we noticed another smaller less bright object following the larger object at a set distance. never loosing or gaining on the larger object. it is hard to be 100% sure, but it seemed that the objects crossed between us and the moon as it moved out of sight over the se horizon. the objects emitted no sound. it seemed to have been travelling at higher altitudes than the usual air traffic which also follow a completely different route across our night sky usually the route is w to e or vice versa. there were none of the usual flashing lights that we would see on regular aircraft. wonder if other people noticed something interesting last night?
