My daughter & i were on the roof of my boyfriend's house to see the comet (c/2020 f3 neowise) & while figuring out the telescope my daughter pointed out something steadily flying- we had seen questionable flight patterns of "planes" the night before also. we watched it steadily move towards the mountains (where the airplane was coming from) & once it's path was above the plane it stopped. it's as if it were watching the plane pass & then it slowly followed the plane. it wasn't smooth it was more follow/stop/follow slower/stop. when it was about to follow at it's previous speed (before the airplane) we heard jets from the west (being a small military town, the sound is all too familiar) & they were going faster than we regularly see them. the light abruptly changed direction & bolted east & seemed to disintegrate & at that moment the first jet sped off quickly as well, then we lost sight of that one. the second one was still going the same speed as we first saw, but seemed in no hurry like the first. we saw around 6-8 similar light fights through the night & two separate light flashes. the first in the southeast around 10pm & the second more north/northeast around 11:20. it was almost like a camera flash that was about 50ft away, but in the stars, very surreal.
