At 9:50pm i saw two lights above tree line to my left out my front window driving on i74 east between batesville and st. leon exits. the lights remained constant and white. as i drove on the highway east it was slowly moving at the same elevation headed west. as i got closer, i leaned toward my driver side window to look up at it and saw the third light in the back, making it a perfect triangle. the flat portion was leading the way, and i could not see distinct features, just the bright lights and the darkness of the object against the sky which was just slightly lighter. i pulled over, and turned to see it out of my rear window continue at the same speed - but only one light was visible at that point. i was not the only one on the highway, my hope is someone else saw this as well. knowing my exact time and location, i’d hope airport traffic in that location would be available to confirm or debunk what i witnessed. it was much lower than normal elevation for an airplane, and i did witness those at the same time above/at the cloud line. approx. 15 mins later further down i74 east i saw a fireball/meteor at 10:05pm.
