UFO Sighting in Pompey, New York on 2020-07-18 21:23:00 – Orange red circle shape, slow moving, turned to dark/black as is disappeared

On july 18, 2020 at 9:00 pm we went out onto our deck to try and observe the neowise comet. we live in a rural area with very little light pollution. at 9:23pm we saw a bright orange light appear on the west horizon traveling east. initially we thought it was a helicopter as it moved slowly towards us. it than turned to the north, and became orange/red in color. there were no blinking lights and no sound. observed through binoculars it was round and bright orange. no sign of any exhaust, tail, or trailing material. it than continued to the north, gradually turning into a black round dot like shadow against the sky as it disappeared out of sight. it looked to be at the same altitude as helicopters we see fly at.
