This happened in about 2001, i now am submitting details.
i was asleep and woken up by the horses and dog running around, was early in the morning just before sunrise, the house shook and my clock radio connected to the mains was dimming up and down, i went to the back door there was light being projected as a shadow around the door frame, i opened the door and the light was gone but in the dim sunrise light i could see a big object not far from me, the livestock were off in the distance running around crazy, i could feel something like static in the air like before or during a large thunderstorm, i came inside in fear as i have lived here for years and i knew nothing should have been in that spot so large. i went back to bed and came out when the sun was up, all that was there was a very large circle of flattened grass, even in spread and slightly off colour compared to the other grass, i also noted the manure was squashed totally flat into the grass, all the livestock were standing around looking straight into the circle as if in fear, they were still hyped up and scared, they stayed off the circle for days before grazing on it again.
