UFO Sighting in Schererville, Indiana on 2017-11-21 18:01:00 – Blinding stationary light

Short as possible; blinding bright white light ssw of my location in schererville, indiana. just outside of chicago. object has never appeared before and tonight is the first night that i have observed it. i will be looking again tomorrow. object was stationary for at least 3 hours. maybe a planet or satellite, but i have never seen anything like that. i don't know what it was but i know what i saw. i don't know what else to add other than the object appeared to be at roughly 4-5,000 feet, no sound and maybe about 30 miles southwest or so. right now, it is still visible.
