UFO Sighting in Thornaby, England on 2017-11-07 00:00:00 – Intermittent trail behind small white orb which disappeared into clouds, no sound

I went out into my front garden for a cigarette with my husband and looked up at the clouds. above the houses across the street i noticed a very bright, white, intermittent trail and when following the trail to the right noticed a small white glowing spot (orb?) moving in front of the clouds. i told my husband to look at it but the trail had disappeared and he wasn't able to see the orb before it disappeared; i'm not certain whether it went into the clouds or just disappeared. the flight path for the local airport goes over our house when planes are in holding to land, this definitely was not a plane or helicopter. there was no sound and the trail it left wasn't like a normal contrail (or chemtrail) from a plane. the trail was like a series of dashes but they weren't perfectly straight, like the orb was bouncing up and down a bit as they were made. and they were really bright, almost like they had their own light source..Very odd. if it hadn't been for the trail, i probably would have just thought the orb was a bird at distance. i don't keep my phone on me so wasn't able to get photos or video
