It’s FOIA Friday (cue trumpet fanfare)!
Here we have a CIA Information Report detailing a sighting that occurred in March of 1955 in Montevideo, Uruguay. The witness reports that on a dark, clear night at around 8:30 PM he and his wife observed one very bright large object and another smaller object below it hovering in the Sky. He never indicates that smaller object is a separate UFO or not, and continues to report with the singular “object” so perhaps this was a detached part of the same UFO. “This same object was being observed by many other people standing in the street,” the witness notes.
The witness estimates that the UFO was at approximately an altitude of 1,500 to 2,000 feet. The object hung in the air pulsating for 3 to 4 minutes then moved off in a southerly direction. The witness “watched the object until buildings finally obscured it from my and my wife’s view.”
