I was on my back deck sitting in a chair facing north watching for activity in the sky. At roughly 3:35 am I noticed what looked to be a bluish star begin to move and start blinking really fast. It seemed to be moving closer and descending. Then it changed to a whiter brighter light and started to strobe or flash around 3 times. I had no idea what the object was from the get go since I don't know of anything in the sky that erratically flashes blue light and then takes on a new form with a new size and color. I was a bit nervous once I picked up on how low it got in such a quick time in such a gradual manner. I have seen several other unexplainable object similar to this but they were always in further distance so I was a bit startled when this object started emmiting extremely bright light, multiply in size and fade out practically into nothing. It started moving in a southeast direction, still descending moving towards the power lines near my house. it gave one last blast of strobing light that was so bright it made me blink my eyes before it disappeared behind the tree line in my back yard.
