I was on my patio viewing the stars with Google Star Map. I saw a flash and turned to see what it was. It was a clear night. The object appeared to be as high as the International Space Station (ISS) when it flies over our home. The lights were sequential and in this order:
Flash (white) then go black for 2-3 seconds.
Soft Glow (red) then go black for 2-3 seconds.
Bright Light (white) then go black for 3-5 seconds.
The object did not follow a straight path, but dipped up and down. We could not tell when it changed directions as it did so while all of the lights were out.
We felt a great deal of anxiety while watching, I believe we have been nervous, irritable and anxious ever since. We stopped watching and when inside as we began to feel fear.
We are filmmakers, photographers, stargazers and backyard astronomers. We know the airline flight paths and have watched the ISS flyover many times. We also know that planes and helicopters do not go completely black and this object was way above the normal altitude, again at first I thought it was the ISS.
