I was driving north on West Florissant Rd. in Ferguson, Mo. about 1 p.m. I was approaching Interstate 270 when I saw these objects to the northwest of my location. They looked almost like balloons one might give for a birthday, but they behaved like a flock of birds. However, they had no wings. I continued on to I-270 and pulled of at the east bound entrance. They continued to meander around in a flock like fashion. I tried to take a picture and video with my cell phone but they didn't turn out well at all. Finally, I lost sight of them. It was difficult to gauge their size and again, they seemed to be about a mile and a half away and from 200 to 500 feet up. I just have never seen anything like them before in this area and it's hard to imagine a bunch of balloons just floating around in that manner.
The only other strange sighting I've had were orange lights in the sky over Jackson Square in New Orleans in October of 2013. Those sightings I also related to MUFON several months after that incident when I realized that others had had similar experiences there in the months previous. So far, I have heard nor seen anything in the media about strange sightings.
As I mentioned I took video but it is of very poor quality and I am having difficulty trying to up load it from my cell phone. I might still try to do so later.
