UFO Sighting in Holtsville, New York on March 5th 2016 – While travelling west on the LIE saw bright flash of light, looked up and saw 5 lights in pentagon pattern.

As passenger driving westbound on LIE, saw bright flash of light across entire sky just prior to exit 62. Looked up saw 5 lights in circular or pentagon pattern. Initial thought was it was a plane. Lights were stationary and had no movement. Lights were visible for 30 seconds to a minute. Driver of vehicle indicated that 3 lights were visible to them. Driver stated that lights were in a Chevron pattern. Driver indicated that the lights were large and reddish/orange. Looked away for a second and when looking back lights were gone. After exiting LIE, when heading south on Nichols Road lights were not in field of vision and could not be found in area. Upon arrival at destination( Island 16 Cinemas ) exited car and could not locate the same lights in sky. Patrons exiting theatre informed us that a transformer had blown. There was no smoke present and no sound of an explosion heard. There is an airport west of the location of sighting. The flight pattern of other planes was present in the area.
