UFO Sighting in Sioux City, Iowa on November 7th 2015 – saw orange hued cometlike shape slowly descend, vanish behind treeline

I went out behind the gas staion i work at and observed a cometlike entity an undetermined distance away sinking slowly, as if braking. It had a TAIL but no TRAIL, and maintained a uniform shape the entire time. I first observed it on the wester sky at 50 degrees and watched it til it sunk behind a treeline at 30-35 degrees from the horizon. At no time did the tsil or coloration change in hue ir shape at all.
