We had walked up to Marie Callendars to eat and as soon as we reached the sign at the driveway, I noticed orange-like flame emerge from black sky to the south. As we debated over whether it was a firework or flare, flames flared out, with what looked liked sparks. Then it shrunk to a round orange shape just before it turned white. Could not see what was producing the light but the white cone shaped 'flame' began to expand, filling the now western sky. It started out directly south of my location, began ascending and turned due northwest. As the cone 'flame'began to dissipate, a thick glowing green line remained in the sky with some white residue, for lack of a better word. We were able to see a small white point of light continue ascent in a northwestern direction.
I was with my daughter, and grandson.
