Black Triangle Sighting in Cnaterbury, on November 11th 2007 – Triangle with 9 lights Looked like three triangles making one Triangle. Twice the size of a jumbo jet. Silent disappeared over the sea(horizon) in less than 10 seconds. Est speed at 9,000 mph because of time and distance

I was leaving Sandwich in Kent on a November evening in 1977 at observed the hovering triangle for 10 minutes until I reach Ash. I stopped the car and got out. I stood on the tp of a small hill for a further 5 minutes. It was a clear sky, no clouds and the triangle was black and solid. It was about 1,000 ft high. We had a power station close by, so I was able to assess its height. It had 9 lights as if there were three triangles of 3 lights making one object of 9 lights. I could not see the starts through the object, so knew that it was solid. Without any sound it shot off over the horizon and was gone in 10 seconds. That calculates at 9,000 Mph because from the top of that hill, one can see France and over the horizon. I got home and my father came in. He had stood underneath it and confirmed there was sound. We just did not know what to make of it. it was at least twice the size of a jumbo jet and hovered silently for at least 15 minutes be disappearing over the Horizon to France.
