Black Triangle Sighting in Scituate, Massachusetts on October 18th 2015 – several lights, not a helicopter, no lights as on other planes, approx 4-5 lights across, by 2. not moving, husband saw also. traveled road many times before, never seen anything like it

Driving south east on a tertiary, familiar to us road approx 12-1 am, an object with several steady lights was above horizon, similar to how a plane looks going into logan airport at night as observed from castle island...but this was not moving. it was not a helicopter, and was approx 4-5 lights across by 2 - resembling a triangle, but a wide triangle. the lights looked like a cross, but the dark shape seemed trianguar. did not appear to be more than one object because lights were equal distance apart. the car was moving, and it seemed to be in one place, "facing" kind of north west. we didn't stop because it was late and the children were with grandparents, and it seemed too weird to us as we were sleepy. husband was driving, i followed it as we went and it remained in the same spot. we've seen coast guard/militry jets before, but never with this light display, and helicopters look longer at night - they are recognizable. i'm a private pilot and love to look at planes....this was weird.
