I was chaining up my dog when I noticed a bright light to the east about the size of a large bright star. The object was unseen but there was an oval light that disappeared shortly after I noticed it. Did not appear to move just vanished. I often look at the stars and I am a UFO buff and star gazer. I used my star app on my phone and no name was projected over anomalies location. I happen to get a picture with my phone. May have been a star event but I don't think so. I also saw a shooting star to the north so I know the difference.
