My wife and I were leaving Bodega Bay. We were right in the middle of Bodega Bay and Sonoma and we observed a red glowing globe in the night sky. It appeared to be either 2 or 3 miles away in the night sky headed West, we were headed East. The object seemed to be emitting a flame. It seemed to ascend further into the night sky and make a slight curve as it ascended. We were going to pull over, but we had cars behind us on a narrow road, we were headed for Vallejo/Sacramento.
