A huge light suddenly appeared while driving 3 friends home from Bingo. It lit the whole car up like daylight. It was like staring at a photo flash bulb but larger. I thought it was an airplane that was going to hit us. Suddenly it withdrew and in its wake left a few sparks. It scared me and my friends until one of them said that was probably a falling star and that happened all the time. It was hard for me to accept but I grew up in Illinois not southeast Arizona. We never spoke of the event later. The light appeared out of nowhere and was the brightest light I have ever seen. This is not the first strange appearance of light but it was the closest. The program you are broadcasting was about the Schilling family. That is my maiden name. I don't talk about this episode at all. People laugh if you say it might have been a UFO so I just say it was a meteorite.
The other light event I saw was in 1983 and my late husband and I had just turned onto Highway M89 between Lake Doster and August, Michigan. Just two twin lights that appeared up in the dark sky suddenly dipping and then going in a half circle before flying up into the air and just disappearing.
