So this is the 3rd sighting of this kind, 3 nights in a row..second report...we were n our back deck..I looked at the time when this happened..it was about 8:35..its when we are usually out..we were actually able to take a picture of when it glowed. (the date/time stamp is wrong on my husbands camera, the pictures were taken last night 10/7/2015) This object appears out of no where. It does not fly across and stop and start glowing. We are looking at a certain spot or cluster of stars and then it seems like a star just glows bright,like its been there the whole time, again like someone turned on a lightbulb. When it goes off you can still see it slightly. I actually got my 15 yr old son to see it also. It looks like a star and then just glows orange and goes off. Its a fluid glow, not a quick burst when it glows, but then sometimes there will be a flash that's brighter. it seems to respond when were taking pictures, because of the flash with the camera....it flashes back. Theres no noise..plenty of planes around. The second night it happened it was northwest...last night it was northeast when we got the pictures. It seems to hover in that area..drifting slightly to the right and then it just goes away.
