UFO Sighting in Redmond, Washington on October 5th 2015 – “V”shaped object hovered in sky for about 5 mintues, then slowly faded away.

I was driving on my way to work along the Trilogy road towards Trilogy housing, when I spotted a very bright almost star bright light in the sky. The sky was clear with no clouds. This was around 7:30 in the morning. Pacific Standard time. The star bright object was "V" shaped. Because the object was so bright, it caught my attention. I thought how strange it was to see something so bright during the day. I noticed that the object did not move from where I was, even when I had pulled off on the side of the road. It seemed to stay or hover in one place and not move around. It appeared that it might be a couple of miles out, perhaps over the valley in the east ( the valley is mostly pasture with a river running through it, but it was hard for me to make a judgment call as to how far. And now that I think about it, the object might be even bigger than I originally thought. Unfortunately by the time I remembered I had my cell phone, it was to late to take a picture. I watched it for about 5 minutes then it seemed to just fade away. I thought for a while that I had just seen a plane reflecting light from the sun, but when a plane did fly by (about 1 minute later, in the general direction of the object), I noticed that the lighting on the plane was completely different from what I had seen with the object. The bottom of the plane did not reflect the light the same way that the object in the sky did, and the plane slowly grew smaller and smaller as it flew away. You could tell that it was a plane. The object I saw just stayed the same size and then faded away.
