UFO Sighting in Utica, New York on August 8th 2015 – red sphere shaped object that hovered for about fifteen minutes then moved then vanished.

I was out on back deck, just finished watching a fireworks show from a festival, then a little after that i noticed a red light that seemed either like a bright red star or round type sphere. To me it did not have any points or jagged edges to it. It was above the tree line in the sky while i was facing north, i watched it for what seemed like ten to fifteen minutes while it did not seem to move at that time, if it moved it might have gotten higher up in sky. Then after that time it slowly moved south to southwest direction going in front of my house, then i watched it vanish. I live in a small town called Schuyler, right north of interstate 90, so it started north then moved south towards interstate 90 but vanished before the interstate, as my home backs onto interstate 90.
