UFO Sighting in Joplin, Missouri on September 27th 2015 – Yellow/Orange Light streaked across the sky N to S during first phases of eclipse

I was at a construction sight where they are building an overpass for a train. It's darker there and I could get better view of the moon since my apt is on the west side and I couldn't see the moon from there. I noticed the object around 9PM on saturday the 27th in the south, I thought at first it was a helicopter, some rich guy screwing his model gf in the back of it while they watch the moon eclipse but as it got closer heading north I noticed it was yellow/orange it was much higher than a helicopter and was moving much faster. It seemed to "explode" several times disappear and reappear and continue to "explode". It never seemed to change trajectory or vear off course. I told some buddies about it at work, they said it could have been a meteor or shooting star but It was moving to slow in my opinion to be any of those and metoerights don't "sputter" in and out "explode" and then reappear on down it's path. after the last "explosion" it seemed to break apart and not come back. Weirdest thing I have ever witnessed in the sky.
