UFO Sighting in Bay Shore, New York on June 30th 2012 – Pulsating lights (red, blue, green, white) from a star-like object never before seen in the sky.

It was about 2:oo am. I was getting a drink of water and looked out the window of my kitchen. The sky was clear. No clouds. It was a Summer night. I saw what I believed to be a helicopter because it wasn't that far from my house and I saw pulsating lights that changed colors (red, blue, green, white). It hovered but made no sound. I went back to watching a favorite movie of mine (Mad Max). It ended at around 4:00 am and when I looked out the window, the star-like object was still hovering but a little further away. I decided to get my binoculars and when I looked through them I saw what almost looked like a laser pointer in the sky that changed colors rapidly (red, blue, green, white) and made all different shapes. I could not see an actual object or craft associated with the pulsating lights but nonetheless it felt weird and I had never in my life seen this object before (and I do a lot of star gazing). It is now September of 2015 and there are now three of the same objects in the sky (NE) and four in the sky, across from my house (Western sky). They all look identical and all have the same pulsating colors and often, they will move horizontally in a super fast burst and then return to their original location in the sky. They have never moved up or down, just left to right or right to left. I have no idea what they are but my wife and neighbor have looked at them and also agree that they have never in their lives seen these star-like objects.
