UFO Sighting in Port Talbot, Wales on June 26th 2009 – observed white light moving in slow straight upward and sideways whilst hooverong before changing to a pulasting red light with eratic fast movement

Saw a bright white light moving in an upward direction then stopped and was motionless for around 30secs then moved to the right again in straight line then stopped and again motionless for around 30secs then double backed on its self to the same point again motionless for 30secs then moved in straight line left then stopped for motionless for around 30secs again then double backed on itself to the original point it was motionless for about a minute before slowly descending then changed from the bright white light to a pulsating red ball shaped sphere and moved in a fast erratic movement before disappearing into the woodland,i observed this from bedroom window which is facing a mountain which is approx 1mile away and I know the mountain is around 900feet and the object was just slightly above the mountain top and descended approx to 200/300 feet from the ground,it was a very warm misty summer night and visibility was not good,at 1st I thought it was a rescue/police helicopter but they would not fly so close to the electric pylons or change into a red pulsating sphere...there was a direction to the white light as if it was searching/scanning for something....very strange.
