UFO Sighting in Rainier, Oregon on September 22nd 2015 – Bright orb appearing in north over Longview after dark, hovering then moving slowly to east, has been present multiple times in last couple months

This bright orb appears after dark, hovering low (I'd guess about a mile or less above ground)for hours. It is primarily glowing white with a little gold aura, and appears to flash red and blue lights. When looking through binoculars or telescope the image is blurry, moving, and sometimes appears to have a grid pattern over the surface of the object. When it is present there are planes and helicopters in the area, always maintaining a lower altitude and respectful circle of distance from the object. About a month ago a similar (the same?) object was seen over the Longview bridge, about 5 miles from my house. It was after dark and the orb was hovering, clearly visible, just above the bridge, and there was a helicopter hovering close to my location facing in the direction of the orb, obviously observing it. Sometimes it stays overnight, most of the time it is gone within a couple of hours.
