I was sat outside having breakfast as it was sunny with a clear sky, I noticed an object which I initially assumed was an aircraft to the North about a mile away and approx. 3000 ft. I looked to see what it was being a bit of an aircraft nerd. It was very shiny like it was in unpainted aluminium and made absolutely no sound as it passed which was very unusual from my location in relation to it I would estimate length at approx. 40 ft and could not make out any discernible control surfaces fins, flaps, wings etc. it was travelling slow for an aircraft and passed from view within probably 45 seconds. I have flight radar app on my phone so checked that it was not showing only the fixed wing aircraft at high altitude flying to Scotland was showing at my location which was also visable to me from where I was sat. Approx 4 min later I heard a helicopter which came into view at approx. the same altitude and track as the earlier object except I was alerted to this before I saw it due to it having engine noise, it followed the same flight path as the object it was dark coloured from my prospective and similar to a Lynx type helicopter although it was a little far to make an exact identification it also did not appear on the flight radar app.
