UFO Sighting in Crestline, Ohio on October 18th 1973 – Seen hovering over houses close to my home. Stopped car and observed for several minutes.

I was in my car, stopped at a Stop Sign, and noticed an object in the sky with bright lights in it's windows. I turned the corner to get a better look at the craft. The color of the craft was a dark grey or black. The thing that struck me odd was that there was no sound that I could detect. After several minutes, the craft began to move away very slowly, still no sound. I followed the craft down he road and out and into the country. Then, suddenly the lights went out and I could not see the craft. I became scared and headed for home as quickly as possible. When I walked into the house, my wife noticed that I was visibly shaking. My brother was a high ranking officer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. I called him immediately and reported to him what I had seen. The following morning, I was driving to work. I had a Columbus radio station on, and they were talking about the UFO activity that had gone on the prior night. I told several people about what I had seen, and their responses were to laugh at me. So, I never told anyone else.
