I looked up at the moon to admire how pretty it was; I saw something move north of my neighbor's house in the sky. At first I thought it was some weird 4th of July stunt, but then it looked like an orange plane as it got bigger (nearer). It traveled NW until it looked like it was so small it disappeared from view--similar to how we watch a plane as it gets too far away to still see. At first I was upset and thought it was some weird "drone" toy plane, but orange-ish, lit up. Then I realized that it was getting bigger--similar to the shape of a plane. I watched it travel across the sky. I became worried that it might be a plane up high in the sky that was engulfed in flames (also a post 911 recurring nightmare theme for me--even after all these years). I went inside to tell another occupant and this person came outside and both saw it at its smallest aand then it disappeared. I am still worried that it might have been a plane, but I don't think it could've have still worked that well to travel that far that fast (if it had been engulfed in flames). So I now wonder if it was a UFO. Not necessarily feeling great about even saying that word, but it was unlike anything I'd ever seen. And it definitely happened. The other occupant noticed that it was definitely orange--similar to the color of the moon at that exact time.
