This event took place way back 0n Dec. 14, 1956. I was 6 years old and my Dad and I were on our way to my Grandmothers to pick up a birthday present for my Mother. We were driving on Rt. 2, just outside od Sterling,Il. All of sudden I see this huge black circular object come right down very quickly in front of our car. I remember looking over at my Dad. The next thing I remember is being at my Grandmothers, visiting for awhile and then going home. My Mother asked us what took us so long, which my Dad thought odd. He told her we went right to my Grandmothers, visited for about a half hour and then came home. He said we were only gone for about an hour. I remember my Mother saying "No, you've been gone over two hours".
I never asked my Dad about that night, but I've never forgotten it and I talk about it often. I've heard of people having "lost time" and I think that is what happened to me and my Dad. Were we abducted? I don't know, but something happened that night.
