My husbad and i were on a road trip in Northern Clifornia when we were first dating. We were on our way to the Redwoods, camping out as we went. We needed to find somewhere to sleep, my husbad saw a dirt road from Hwy 101 and decided to take it. We followed the road for about 2 miles and it took us to the top of a mountainwhich put us up about 2000 feet. We ate dinner and sat there looking down at the coast which was about a mile away. We saw a light above the fog, I thought it was a lighthouse but he said it was too high but the light would would go out and then back on. It did this several times. We didnt think much about it. We went to bed around midnight sleeping in the back of the truck. I awoke, not sure what time, because we were bathed in a bright white light. I woke him up telling him there was a car that drove up next to us. When he sat up to look out, said no one was there and that is all we both remember. Neither one of us recall anything after that, how much time passed, what time we woke up, nothing.
We didn't recall this incident until a couple of years ago when my husband saw an orb being chased by an F16 from our front yard. The person who posted the sighting of a planet size UFO in Escondido Decembr 2014, we saw it too.
