On May 25th, 2015 at approximately 9:45-10:00 PM Was driving north on County Rd. 6 east between cnty. Rd. 2 north and 3 north Near Monte Vista, Colorado. Was looking West at Jupiter about 45 degrees up. A few faint stars were shining. Alternating between looking at the road and looking west. On one glance there was a bright light about the size Of Jupiter but a little brighter about a hands span at arms length to the south and a little lower in the sky than Jupiter. Could not tell distance or altitude Looked back forward and then back and it was gone. It didn't move, just stationary. I was surprised and excited. I had seen similar in Feb. of 2014, often 2-3 close together, sometimes moving but usually stationary. Stayed there for about 4 seconds. When I told my wife about it she said that she saw it too out a north window of the house and it was moving north. I saw it again out that same widow on the 26th about the same time of night. It wasn't moving and by the time I could bring my binoculars to bear on it it was gone. Went outside to look but it didn't appear again. No planes were visible anywhere in the northern sky. It was there for a few seconds and then went out. Could not tell distance or altitude. Saw the same type of blue white lights for a period of 7 days last February but was unable to get them on film due to the short duration of the sightings, always just 4 or 5 seconds long.
