UFO Sighting in Ocean Township, New Jersey on January 31st 1995 – 5 red orbs hovered over the ocean in a V formation and then headed south at extremely fast speed disappearing from sight.

I was sitting in my police cruiser facing south and speaking to another officer who was facing north. I looked over his car and saw 5 red orbs in a V formation over the ocean. I first believed it to be a plane but then realized that they were hovering. I told the other officer to look but he was impeded by his position. The orbs then sped away southbound faster then any aircraft I believe could. I lost sight due to a building obstructing my view. I thought about reporting it and did not, thinking people would be skeptical. I didn't see any sightings after that. I have rarely spoken of the incident since and cannot pinpoint an exact time or date (I have since retired and would have to research police records to narrow down the time frame). I was working patrol on the barrier island section of our town at the time in the 90's. I have always wondered if anyone else had similar sightings around that time and location. Your recent broadcasts have brought back my discussing it again.
