At the coast, roughly 9:45 PM looking east/southeast about 100 degrees to a compass and 55-45 degrees in the sky, a moving light caught my attention. I watched a reddish orange round dime size light seemingly just above low light cloud cover. The light was moving steady and unwavering due east. The light was moving much slower than a meteor and much faster than an aircraft or jet. I watched the light for 8-10 seconds and there was no sound. The light was not bright or dim but was easy to see. The night was calm and no wind. The clouds were thin enough to see a couple of stars. The light disappeared toward the horizon where a two story house on the beach obstructed my view. The light could be described as similar to a small harvest moon moving fast and low across the sky to the East. Two others at the pool area about 30 yards away from me also witnessed the moving light and similarly described.
