UFO Sighting in Lebanon, New Hampshire on June 5th 2015 – Bright glowing object descending behind tree line on rural road

Traveling back to our vacation home at around 11pm on a dark road in a rural area, having just got onto I91 South coming from I89 South outside of West Lebanon New Hampshire my girlfriend and I observed a bright glowing object, circular in shape, drop down into our view from the top of the windshield, and proceed to drop at a steady rate until it reached the tree line, where it passed behind the trees, still moving down toward the ground, and disappeared. It happened very fast, the whole sighting lasting less than 10 seconds. At first I thought it was a meteorite, but there was no trail and it appeared to be descending straight down at a fast but steady rate. It was a clear night and we could see the stars. The object was much larger that the stars, appearing probably about the size of a penny compared to the stars being a pin prick.There was no sound and no sign of any hard impact with the ground. It just glided straight down and went behind the trees. The object was bright white, circular, and seemed to glow, having no hard edges. I saif to my girlfriend 'did you see that?' and she said yes, then described the same thing I had seen. I have worked for an airline, and am used to seeing aircraft lights at night, and this looked nothing like anything I've ever seen.
