I was talking to my minister neighbor across the fence in my back yard one day about where they were moving to for his next church assignment. As the small talk went on he noticed what looked like a bright metallic balloon in the northwest sky. Being inquisitive with what I was seeing I told him to hang on as I went to get my binoculars. When I came back out to check the object was still there. Looking thru the binoculars didn't seem to sharpen up what we were seeing. I'd guess it was about a mile in the sky but very non descript as we both looked at it with the binoculars. It kind of looked like a really tall cylinder going top to bottom with a point on the top and bottom at the same time. The surface had a bright reflection on the object that seemed to roll around it like it was spinning real slowly. I watched it for about 5 minutes myself until the reflection that was going on with it kind of rolled into itself and totally disappeared. I watched the sky for 15 more minutes wondering if I had seen a balloon of some sorts but at the same time realizing the object was stationary when I watched it making it not a balloon.
