Got off of work a couple of minutes past 8 pm in Boerne, Tx. Headed home to Bandera, Tx through Hwy 46 to Hwy 16 West. After turning left onto Hwy 16 West, racing up the hill and turning the first curve to the right. I noticed a quarter inch line lit up in the sky towards Bandera. I some what recklessly watched it the rest of the way home. It seemed to hover and never change but then again, I was driving. By the time I got to first light just before Bandera, I noticed that it had doubled in it's size from when I first saw it. I started looking for a place to pull over but didn't till after I passed the light and just before a sign that reads, "Purple Sage RD --->. It was to the right of the road. I took a couple of pics with my iPhone and left. Then pulled into my drive and parked. I started looking at the pics and my husband came out to help me unload. I told him about it and showed him. He said, "That's no plane. Maybe a meteor.". I said, "neither one would stick around in the same spot that long, and their are no trail clouds any where.". We tried to seek it from our house. No sign. So we took every thing in the house. I went to the rest room and we headed back out to the spot about 3 miles east of Bandera. Nothing and no sign of anything having been in the area. So I took a picture of the sign just in front of where I had pulled over the first and second time.
I don't feel anything with my sightings. Well, maybe comforted.
