UFO Sighting in Lawrenceville, Georgia on May 31st 2015 – Two glowing lights (reddish orange to white) that changed direction

I was changing my 4 month old daughter's diaper and my wife was looking out our back glass door at the storm clouds because we've been having some pretty crazy storms today and it's finally started clearing up, so there had been a really interesting pinkish color because it was close to dusk. My wife (who 100% does NOT believe in any ufo phenomenon whatsoever) says " Hon, umm what're these?" I walk over and look out the window to see two bright reddish orange to white lights not blinking in any sequence but maybe pulsing in different colors slightly(?). I imediately stepped outside to get a better look and notice that one is in more of a straight direction while the other one seemed to veer around back toward the other one, almost looking like they were going to hit. Expecting them to converge, just as they looked close, a purplish cloud cover seemed to hide the first one and then shortly the second one. It almost seemed like the cloud was following them as weird as it sounds. I stood out there waiting for another minute or so to see something else but never did, but in that minute oddly enough the little wave of cloud cover had gone and went as well. I hope this makes better sense than my writing is probably conveying. Thanks!
