Having a BBQ outside and was identifying planets and stars with my friend as our girlfriends were in conversation. Noticed a bright light that was travalinging South and then stopped suddenly. It then made a right angle turn to the west and went a short distance and stopped. Then proceeded South for a bit then back East all making sudden stops with right angle manuvuers.The object stopped and then what appeared to leave at an accellerated rate straight away from us until it disappeared.
