I used to live in Vegas for 30 years, and I have seen this before, it`s a test rocket vapor trail I promise you, seen it many times..Peace

Lol that’s what you call a missile from the anti missile defence system.
I saw all of those test launches there pretty sweet looking they last a long time.
But lol it’s still would be considered a ufo to the person not knowing what it was.

this looks more like an ionospheric or megnetospheric test done with aluminum oxide dust releasd buy rockets supposedly for mapping of electrical properties of the magnetosphere. They were done periodicaly by NASA and protested by Puerto Rico natives a few years ago. “Tito kayak” became well known for his protest skills honed in Vieques residents against the US Navy/NASA possible mass poisinings.

i bet its the governemtn testing their “ufo”
but, what i think most of the sightings of ufos are the government/army, remakes of these crafts, some are the “aliens”, some of the crafts are man made from the original crash landings of ufos. so their u have it.

A comet doesnt move that fast and it doesnt leave any clouds behind. That was some kind of air craft or rocket. I cant imagin how a small alien UFO could be able to visit us with the huge distance there is between us and other solar systems.

Sign up for some science class ans get an education. No need to use such language. There is no place for reply like your. Stick to porn sites. How old are you? Have you ever seen a missile launch? I have many times and this is a missile launch and most probably from Vandenberg AFB, Ca.

I have seen launches from Vandenberg AFB at dusk putting military satellites into polar orbit. This looks JUST like one. Sunlight on the exhaust plume, the break in the plume after Stage 1 shuts down and before stage 2 kicks in, the obvious northward trajectory (view is to the southwest here).

I must add that it is about 300 mi SSW from Yosemite to V’berg, and about 250 mi ESE from Yosemite to Area 51. Note Venus is visible below the moving object, but high in the sunset sky, pegging the direction to the launch point as southwesterly.

Venus reached maximum angle east of the sun on 22 Aug 2002, so I infer this was recorded late in the year. If the OP had bothered to give the date, we might be able to identify the exact launch involved (assuming it wasn’t CLassified).

Thank God there are at least some people smart enough to know this is a missile from Vandenburg. The reason it’s glowing is because it is so high that it is still in direct sunlight as opposed to everything on the ground. As for the people who think this is a comet: I hope that somehow you are chemically castrated for the sake of humanity. On a personal note – I ride a Ducati too, but now I’m thinking of selling it. Thanks comet guy.
Ok so it looks to me like a commet and an airplane flew by. then a bit of the film is cut out. most likely to make it appear that the ufo has left. But they waited till the commet was out of sight and filmed the vapor trail of an airplane.. nothing special here…

You are 100% correct with your observation. I was station at Vandenberg AFB and seen many of these condensation trails during a launch.

Not true, but partiallt right. its Vandenberg AFB, Ca. and not Palmdale. Palmdale does not launch birds (missiles).
