The video was taken behind somebody’s house backing onto the Experimental Farm (close to Baseline and Merivale rd. in Ottawa). The lights in the background are street lights along Baseline Rd. and in the foreground is a light from a field shed. The light that flickers at the very end and takes a gradual constant path upwards is definately a commercial plane; however, the light you see from the start going back and forth in unorthodox fashion remains a mystery to me…

Was the “UFO” above the field or far away? Was it a cloudy or clear night??? I guess whatever it was, if it was flying and you can’t identify it then it must have been….a U F O
The “UFO” was definately above the field because even before I started filming, I was driving in my car from a different angle. So far I haven’t been able to identify it; therefore, it remains a UFO by definition. I’m going to submit my video and story to the experimental farm’s observatory and ask if they found anything on their videos (assuming they have any in that specific location).

looks like a large plastic bag or something like that in the wind.. then it fell to the ground at the end of the video…

I dunno man, it’s motions seem like a kite but holy fuck before thinking that it looks so crazy. I know you man and I think you’d be able to tell if it was a kite. Man it feels like it’s hiding from the airliner! Nuts.
dude ive seen the exact same thing once…. ive seen another phenomena once…. but when they roam around like that it really is gut lifting!

I appreciate your comment because there are so many people out there who think we are alone in this universe. If they would only stop to think about how unrealistic that prospect is, only then would they become believers. I haven’t seen aliens first hand, but as long as this thread continues to be a mystery, I can say without a doubt that UFOs do exist. Something IS out there.

yo yo guy i lived cardinal when i saw the same thing there were 2 though… flying the same way, and then another time in smithsfalls walking back from the store with a buddy we were chatting when i looked behind me and saw somthing tuck behind a tree i turned to my buddy and grabbed his shoulder and said did you see that.. he said what and i told him he said yeah right.. then i shot out from behind the tree and was gone…….
its a plane, helicopter, or a balloon with a couple of lights on it( have u ever seen the show the mstery hunters?) by the way u have really crappy acting!
Please prove to me that it is one of the above and then I might consider your comment. However, with your poor spelling and grammar syntax, I don’t expect a highly educated response.

ya it could have been a jet powered glider (look it up) you just saw it from far away so…

I looked it up, but I doubt it was a jet-powered glider, simply because I did not hear a sound coming from the field. Also, the swift back and forth movements would not have been possible on such an aircraft. Thanks for the comment, but it still remains a UFO, at least until further notice…

Great vid man. Your adrenaline woulda been pumpin something fierce. One day i’ll get my chance… and if ya interested in this subject after that experience, then i recommend reading the books “The 12th Planet” and “The lost book of Enki” both by Zecharia Sitchin, a world leading histologist and archeologist.

I saw a ufo in 2000 in New Brunswick but I don’t tell people that haven’t seen one because they look at you like you have two heads. I know what I saw, my boyfriend saw it too.
Hi, I’m from Ottawa as well and saw the exact same phenomenon when I was really young in 1998. I can guarantee that this video is 100% real. It gave me the chills seeing that thing again. Any explications as to what else it could be if not a UFO?
