I work in lake havasu, and drive home on i40 to kingman every evening. i had just passed the proving grounds, when i noticed a pulsing object in the sky about 10 degrees west of where i knew kingman to be and at 10 oclock in the sky. at first i thought it was a light from an antenna, but as i got closer to kingman i realized it was too large to be a light. it was not dark enough to have the stars come out. by 6:10 or so i knew it was not a plane, as it remained stationary. then from the top a light extended, until i could see 5 or 6 littler objects extending in a straight line. it bent a bit to the left, then straightened out. below the main (bright) light two more objects appeared and got brighter (maybe half as bright as the main light), they remained stationary for a minute, then moved out to where they formed a triangle with the big light. nothing happened for a couple of minutes, then the entire group faded out, and 30 seconds later came back on brighter, and then the entire group just clicked out.
i would love to hear from anyone else on i40 or in golden valley that saw the same thing. i would guess it was high enough that it was a considerable distance from me, as the position did not change with me driving 15 miles mountains, and land all shifted but the lights appeared in the same location.
i definitely know it was not an airplane or balloons or stars.
