UFO Sighting in Mount Sinai, New York on 2014-09-27 22:18:00 – Glowing ball appearing, moving slowly side to side then zoomint off

At just over 10 pm i was sitting on the curb writing a song looking up at the sky when i saw a bright orange/white/yellow ball appear. at first i thought it was the moon, size and distance gave me that impression but i looked over to the left and saw the moon. i stood up and stared there stunned wondering what this was. it stayed stationary for serveral minutes slightly glowing. i snapped the best picture i could on my cell phone and then a few minutes later it started slowly sliding west, then east, and back and forth a few times then shot off to the west.
