I had sent my kids up to get ready for bed a little after 10 pm, and when they got upstairs, they noticed two large bright lights hovering in the sky. they turned off the lights in the room to see them more clearly and called to me, but i did not hurry upstairs because i didn't realize what was going on. the objects were gone by the time i made it upstairs. the following details were described to me by my very responsible nearly 13-yr-old daughter.
two very bright objects, shaped like tall hexagons, were hovering outside, not far above the treeline, in proximity to the full moon. the objects appeared to be about 75% the size of the moon as it appeared around that time. both objects remained stationary, one a little higher than the other, for about 10-15 seconds. then, one of them began to move in a slow s-shaped path toward the north while the other remained stationary. after a few seconds, the moving object turned and began to fly in a straight path over the houses. when the object turned, my daughter noticed flashing lights that flashed in a pattern. one red flash on one side followed by two white flashes on the opposite side. the pattern continued back and forth. then, about 30 seconds after the first object disappeared from sight, the other object began to move slowly. it turned and flew in the same direction as the first object. there was no sound from either object, and unfortunately, they did not have a way to take a picture.
